Remember when we told you that Rihanna and MAC teamed up for a gorgeous new line based on the singer’s sultry makeup loves? Here’s the first look at what RiRi Hearts MAC will look like on her adoring fans. The photo really focuses on the gem of the line, RiRi Woo, a lipstick reinterpretation of MAC’s cult classic, Ruby Woo. The deep intensity of the red is perfect for vampy summer nights.
The entire line is set to hit a few shelves in May. Will you be rocking RiRi Woo?
MAC Cosmetics is bottling Rihanna’s beauty for the masses. On her 25th birthday, the superstar announced her first collaboration with the makeup powerhouse, revealing cutesy packaging personally created by RiRi.
The first release from RiRi Hearts MAC is a lipstick named RiRi Woo, affectionately playing off of the MAC classic, Ruby Woo. Rihanna is known for her vampy, dark pucker and the shade is a deliciously deep chocolate plum. Remarking on the new venture, she told Women’s Wear Daily, “Working with MAC, it’s difficult to get a red lipstick that beats Ruby Woo, because it works on every skin tone. I had so many different samples to choose from and so many different colors underneath — blue, yellow, orange and pink bases. And I got to pick one that worked, and I tried it on all my friends to make sure it worked on all of our skin tones.”
The lipstick will be available at a MAC pop-up shop on May 4th and 5th.
