No Alcohol, No Petroleum, No Mineral Oils and No Sodium Sulfates!  We always get the questions of whether or not we’ll have products for those that have strict rules for their hair.  Allow us to introduce you to Eden Body Works … It’s nothing but the GOOD stuff!  And we were lucky enough to get you FULL SIZES to try.  And we don’t know about you but we LOVE the way peppermint makes our scalp feel.  The other good news is that if you love your Eden products, you can hop in your car head over to Wal-Mart or Sally’s Beauty Supply and pick them up because they just hit the shelves there this month!

2. Ampro Olive Oil Gel (10oz – $5.99)

Okay … We’ll come clean.  We got this because we NEEDED to know if it could REALLY rival our beloved EcoStyler (because we KEEP hearing that it DOES).  Some of us use gel … Some of us don’t.  Sooooo … If you aren’t a gel girl, I’m SURE you have a curly friend that will be thrilled to try this out.  EVERY SINGLE PLACE WE LOOKED we kept hearing about this gel … No parabens, no alcohol and as one blogger notes, “acts like it’s got some home training” when it comes to the curls!  Say HI to your 10oz and let us know what you think.

3.  Curls Unleashed assortment | Take Command Curl Creme & No Restrictions Moisturizing Conditioner (16oz $14.99):

Notice a theme here?  You asked for ALL of the good stuff and you can expect NO sulfates, mineral oil OR alcohol.  Yup … You heard right.  Curls Unleashed™ products and are made with natural ingredients like safflower oil, sweet almond oil, and shea butter to help deliver the moisture and curl definition your natural curls crave but without the crunch or flakes.  So pop open your jar, give it a try and let us know what you think!

4.  Darcy’s Botanicals Sweet Cocoa Bean Curl Smoothing Cream (8oz $12):

This NEW product that smells like a slice of HEAVEN can be used daily or weekly leave-in to help detangle, moisturize, defrizz, and soften your lovely coils and curls. An excellent moisturizing leave-in cream which works great for all hair types. Also great as a styler for curls, twists and braids.  We had a chance to have a good LONG talk with the owner of this incredible brand and we can’t say enough about how incredible she was to us and gave the most encouraging words ever.  Can’t we all stand to be encouraged?  We encourage YOU to give this a spin and report back.  Thanks!

It’s safe to say that Ms. Waajid has been leading this natural hair movement for longer than most of us can imagine.  If you can’t make it out to the World Natural Hair show in a few weeks (we’ll be there), fret not … We bringing the party to YOU.  Last year when we walked the show the idea for curlBOX hit us … How could we BOX this thing up and put it at your doorstep?  Well … A few months of organizing and we figured it out.  Just like all of the other products it’s an ALL NATURAL EVERYTHING fest!  Dig in and if you’ll be at the hair show, be sure to tweet us @curlBOX so we can meet up!

7.  Nutress Assortment | Moisturizing Protein Pack for Colored Hair, Moisturizing Protein Pack, Stop Breakage Leave-In Conditioner (8oz $4.99):

Sometimes our hair is in need of some SERIOUS REPAIR … Allow Nutress to come on in and have a seat!  Sometimes overexposure to chemicals and the elements can make hair extremely porous and leave you with very brittle and hopeless hair. Protein reconstructors like Nutress Hair Moisturizing Protein Pack for Extremely Damaged Hair can infuse much needed strengtheners and significantly help your hair when you’re in need.  Check out the rest of the products and let us know if the claims are true.  We’ve tried and we love but the truth always lies with you!

8.  Belle Butters 20% Off Coupon!

We’ve been stalking Belle Butters on Twitter for the longest because when we first went to the site we saw the pic above.  Does that NOT look like the most amazing scrub you’ve ever seen in your life?  Belle Butters makes a slew of incredible products and some things we KNOW you’ve never even heard of like “Neutralizing Butter for Oily Skin” which has charcoal in it and gets make up off and ALL of that!  Oh and there’s PLENTY-O hair goodies too.  Want to try?  You have 20% OFF!  It’s all so gooooood!

OK ladies.  This concludes our April curlBOX presentation.  Next month is May (quite possibly the best month of the year) because it’s my birthday and who better to celebrate than with YOU?!  Next  month is the BIRTHDAY BOX and if you want that cake cake cake cake make sure you stick with us … You won’t get a car but you will be GIFTED something serious!

Until May … Keep it FLY!
